Privacy Policy
Information on the processing of personal data when visiting this website pursuant to Art. 13 GDPR. The German version is authoritative.
1. Controller
STATCON GmbHUniversitätsplatz 12
34127 Kassel
Germany
vertrieb@statcon.de
+49 5542 93-300
Full details are in the legal notice.
2. Data protection officer
[PLACEHOLDER: either the name and contact details of the data protection officer — or the statement that no appointment is required and none has been made.]
Editing note: the obligation to appoint an officer depends on the company, not on this website (§ 38 BDSG). The wording therefore has to come from the company, not from this project.
3. Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages, Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When a page is requested, Cloudflare processes technically necessary connection data: IP address, date and time, the address requested, the amount of data transferred, status code, referring page and browser identification.
Purpose and legal basis: delivering the page, operational security and defence against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is secure and uninterrupted operation.
Retention: logs are deleted as soon as they are no longer required for these purposes. No fixed period is stated here on purpose: Cloudflare does not publish a retention period for edge logs, and a guessed figure would be a false statement. Art. 13 (2)(a) GDPR permits stating the criteria instead of a period in exactly this case.
Transfer to the USA: Cloudflare operates a global network; processing outside the EU cannot be excluded. This is based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and a data processing agreement with Cloudflare.
4. Cookies and local storage
This website sets no cookies and stores nothing in local or session storage. There is therefore no consent banner either — there would be nothing to consent to.
No analytics or tracking tool is used, no third-party content is embedded (no maps, no videos, no external fonts) and there is no contact form. The typeface used is served from our own server.
5. Contacting us by e-mail
If you write to us, we process your details in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR where a contract is being initiated or performed, otherwise Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR. We retain the correspondence for as long as it is needed to deal with the matter and where commercial or tax retention obligations apply.
Editing note: once the e-mail provider for the contact address is settled, it belongs here by name — it is a processor. That applies in particular to the switch to [PLACEHOLDER: info@anagraph.de — including the mailbox provider, once decided]: a mailbox is a processing operation, not a technical detail.
6. The AnaGraph software itself
This policy covers this website only. The AnaGraph program runs locally on your machine and is a separate matter: what data it processes — for licence activation or an optional error report, for instance — is governed by the program documentation and the licence agreement.
Editing note: if this site later offers a download or an activation step, it needs its own section for that.
7. Links to other websites
This site links to other websites. Following such a link takes you off our site; processing there is the sole responsibility of its operator. No data is transmitted there before you click.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to
- access to the data processed about you (Art. 15),
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16),
- erasure (Art. 17),
- restriction of processing (Art. 18),
- data portability (Art. 20),
- object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21).
To exercise these rights, contact us at the address given above.
9. Right to lodge a complaint
You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the country of your residence, your place of work or the alleged infringement. The authority responsible for us is:
Der Hessische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit(Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information)
Wilhelmstraße 7
65185 Wiesbaden, Germany
Postal address: Postfach 31 63, 65021 Wiesbaden
Telephone: +49 611 1408-0
poststelle@datenschutz.hessen.de
datenschutz.hessen.de
Editing note: re-check the authority's address whenever this policy is updated — authorities do move. That is exactly what happened here: until 16 August 2026 this section carried the former address.
10. Version and changes
Version: 16 August 2026 — draft, not yet reviewed by a lawyer. We update this policy when the processing changes.
